While PROOF (Lil’ Tic) was the only member of the group D12 to appear in the film 8 mile, (he’s the rapper who makes Eminem’s character, choke in the MC battle) and Mekhi Phifer portrayed Proof’s real life persona in the film. Proof now portrays another role as an executive of his, IF Record label distributed by AMC – American Music Corp. Poised to release two projects within the first quarter of the year; One, the EP Electric Coolaid – Acid Testing will usher in the March 11th, 2003 full length release of Searching 4 Jerry Garcia.
The six songs EP contain a procession styles to avert boredom, satisfying the enthusiasts and fans alike. An Equivalent number of street bangers accompanied by thoughtful, sometimes animated lyrics free the composition from being inundated with just street talk. The musical effort is edgy, crisp but original.
