Best known for his work with the Beastie Boys, Hurricane like his DJ peers, has decided to put together a compilation album of his own. The beauty of a compilation is that it is combined with so many different flavors that are usually appeals to all listeners. This unfortunately can also serve as downfall, as there is no real direction throughout the album.

Hurricane
assembled a ton of industry heavy weights for Don’t Sleep, such as a banging Flipmode joint and an Xzibit, Pharoahe Monch and Big Gipp collabo. Another dope joint is Blow It Up, by Hitman where he spits ever so smoothly, I taught fools/slap the shit out of rap cats and flaunt they jewels/ at the next source awards; over a Dre-like beat.

There is also an appearance by two big name Canadians as Infinite and Choclair slay the track with ease. Overall, there is a lot of quality material as Hurricane shows he can be grouped with the likes of Flex and Clue.
