After a busy Sunday night leading the house band at MTV‘s annual Video Music Awards, Wale took to the social-networking microsite, Twitter [pictured below], to announce he was voluntarily pushing his album release date to November. The Interscope/Allido signee was slated to release his debut album, Attention Deficit on October 22, and his official album artwork was released via various blogs and Web sites last week.

“ok..i pushed my own album back two weeks..just two weeks..im goin on tour with lupe …and i scheduled alot of talk shows,”Wale wrote. “ok..lupe and jayz..lol…i think its ok to push it back Just TWO weeks..to handle that tour ..no? im glad yall understand..thnx for the love.”

While Jay-Z has announced a series of upcoming tours [click to read], neither Jay-Z, Lupe Fiasco nor anyone from their respective camps has confirmed the tour. If the tentative release date holds firm, Wale‘s album would hit stores November 3.
