Much like he did when the first Blueprint [click to read] was released, Jay-Z is releasing the third installment of the trilogy on September 11. Aware of the importance of the date, Jay-Z is set to play at Madison Square Garden in New York to raise money for New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund.

As mentioned, the show will fall on the same date as the release of his highly anticipated Blueprint 3 offering. The anticipation has been rising for this CD with the release of two singles and videos off the album, along with a leak of “Off That” featuring Drake [click to listen] and “Reminder” [click to listen].  This, of course, follows last year’s leaks, which included songs that gained buzz but were later taken off the album [click to listen].

Ticket information for the show has not been announced as of yet but the show will be shown on Fuse. The week of the album’s release will be a big one as he is also set to perform at MTV’s Video Music Awards and Jay Leno’s first night on prime time with NBC.
