Her In A Perfect World… [click to read] sold just another 100,000 first week units, over doubling what Jones‘ Pray IV Reign [click to read] major label debut did. The-Dream‘s [click to read] fell 10 spots with Love Vs. Money [click to read]. Def Jam‘s hit-making songwriter, producer and performer is nearly halfway to gold status.

Beyonce‘s I Am…Sasha Fierce [click to read] closed out the first five, with her lowest position yet. The songstress remains strong though, after 19 weeks on the chart.

Twenty year veteran emcee DOOM (formerly MF DOOM and Zevlove X of KMD) returned with his first new studio album in almost five years. The Lex Records release BORN INTO THIS cracked five figures, despite strong bootlegging fears, and entered the charts at #52. iTunes offers an exclusive Radiohead remix to one of the album’s tunes, making it a release to watch.
Lil Wayne [click to read] sold just over 10,000 copies of Tha Carter III [click to read], pushing the rapper down 17 spots from last week, shortly before he releases his next effort.
In the second half of the charts, Atlanta repped hard. Ludacris, Young Jeezy and an unauthorized Gucci Mane mixtape all fell between #100 and #200 to close out this week’s charts.
