Prior to Rick Ross and Flo-Rida, it was Jacki-O that emerged in 2004 on Poe Boy/TVT Records with Poe Little Rich Girl. The album spawned the hit single “P***y” (popularly called “Nookie”) and “Sugar Walls.”

Since 2005, Jacki-O has since pushed her own label, Jackmove Entertainment. The premier release from the EMI-distributed label will be her Lil Red Riding Hood, coming February 24, 2009. The lead single from the sophomore album is “Baby Mama.”

Of the record, Jacki explained, “When I say ‘baby mama’ I affectionately use it as
another slang for ‘be your girl’. I can remember
playing with dolls as a young girl, dreaming of the day that I would marry and
have kids, and I think most women have. It’s nothing negative, it’s just real
life.

After two of her previous singles led to criticism about sexual lyric limitations, Jacki-O is also using this effort to demonstrate further abilities. “With my new music, I would like people to know that,
despite my raunchy lyrics, I am real. I’m sincere about what I
do, and regardless of what has been put out there about me, my talent will speak
for itself
,” she said.

In addition to the album she is executive producing, Jacki is also said to be at work on an autobiography reportedly titled Relentless. The rapper has said to want to adapt the book into a film after publication.
