Midway Games Inc. has announced that Chuck D and Just Blaze will join forces on new video game.

Both will appear on Midway’s next installment of the NBA Ballers franchise titled NBA Ballers: Chosen One.

Public Enemy front man, Chuck D, will not only provide in-game commentary during the game, but will also act as the studio host and announcer for the game’s “Chosen One Tournament”.

Grammy nominated producer, Just Blaze also contributes his production skills to the making of NBA Ballers: Chosen One.

Unlike the typical use of licensed music in video games which includes a random compilation of tracks from various recording artists, the distinctive NBA Ballers: Chosen One soundtrack will be enhanced with interactive music similar to a cinematic score to give the player a feeling as though he is in a film, instead of playing a video game.

In addition to recording several tracks for video games in the past such as Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 and NBA Street Volume 2, Just Blaze will produce the entire instrumental score for the new NBA Ballers installment.
