Koch Records announced yesterday (Oct 21) a new universal deal with the Bronx crew, Terror Squad in which they will release two albums on the label.
Terror Squad (most notably comprised of
Fat Joe and DJ Khaled along with others) have previously released two albums: 1999's self-titled
Terror Squad and 2004's True Story, which included the commercial smash hit, "Lean Back." Together, the albums have sold close to 750,000 copies.
Koch already has an existing deal with
DJ Khaled, in which he has released two prior albums albums, including his latest,
We the Best, which is approaching 300,000 units sold. Of the new collaboration,
Khaled says via press release : "The Terror Squad albums at
Koch are going to be huge!
Terror Squad/KOCH is going to make history.
Koch is a label that works their artists to victory. I'm happy to be a part of two big families,"
Fat Joe also expressed his enthusiasm with the new deal adding,

Alan Grunblatt, General Manager of
Koch, is pleased as well, having had a professional past with
Terror Squad figure-head
Fat Joe. Grunblatt says, "I signed
Fat Joe to his first record deal in 1992 when I was at

Joe again, and continuing our relationship with
Terror Squad and DJ Khaled. We've had great success this year!"
