Justo’s Mixtape Awards are now going on their seventh year, and are growing all the time.

This year’s show, held Tuesday night at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, was a star-studded affair featuring the likes of Fat Joe, DJ Clue, and Mobb Deep in attendance.

The big winner on the night was DJ Kay Slay, who took home the flagship award for Best Mixtape DJ, and also Best Freestyle and Best Personality, both of course on mixtapes.

DJ Clue also took home two awards for Best Commercial Mixtape, and Best Hip-Hop Mixtape, but did not go up to accept them, even though he was in attendance. Boos could also be heard whenever Clue was announced as a winner, which may explain his reluctance to get up and speak.

Other winners included Jadakiss for Best Artist on a Mixtape, Lazy K for Best Female Mixtape DJ, and Bobby Blends for Best Blends.
