It seems as though initial reports of Scott Boogie being the producer of 50 Cent’s smash hit I Get Money were false. According to a G-Unit Records source, Scott Boogie was lying about producing the track, and nearly got away with it, which was why the first run of CDs had his name on it.

According to the source, “[Scott Boogie] did give me the CD that got to 50, but the actual producer, we found out, is
from Brooklyn and his name is ApexScott Muso aka Scott Boogie stole Apex’s
and other beats and passed them off as his own, and got exposed.”

Apex is now managed by the source at G-Unit records, and will be interviewed in Scratch and XXL magazine next month.
