Baton Rouge, LA

The two younger brothers of popular Louisiana rapper NBA YoungBoy have reportedly been arrested in Baton Rouge for second-degree murder.

According to Fox8 News Baton Rouge, 18-year-old Davaughn Tate and 16-year-old Jeffrey Tate were taken into custody on Wednesday (December 5) for their alleged involvement in the shooting death of 17-year-old Javon Brown.

On Monday (December 2), Brown and a friend were walking home in East Baton Rouge Parish when three male suspects approached them. A fight ensued and Brown was shot. He later died of his injuries at Louisiana hospital.

Louisiana Sheriff’s deputies suspected the Tate brothers were involved after Jeffrey checked himself into a local hospital to treat a non-fatal gunshot injury. Investigators believe Jeffrey was accidentally shot during the fight.
