Ne-Yo has had an impressive week. Not only did the singer’s album Because of You debut at #1 with 251k, but he successfully bumped Akon off of the top 10. Akon comes in at #11 (out of the top 10 for the first time in 25 weeks) with 43k sold on the week (2.2 million overall).

Timbaland’sShock Value drops from #14 to #26, with 23k on the week (291k overall). Young Buck follows suit as Buck The World drops from #30 to #38, with 17k on the week (288k overall). Things don’t go much better for Paul Wall and Rich Boy; Paul Wall’sGet Money, Stay True continues it’s descent as it lands in the #45 spot with 15k on the week (190k overall). Rich Boy comes in #62 with 10k this week, bringing his totals to 280k.

Birdman and Lil’ Wayne’sLike Father, Like Son actually moves up a spot this week, to #132, as the duo moves 5k units (717k overall). Redman’sRed Gone Wild moves up six spots to #137, pulling in 5k with only 90k as his total.

Lil’ Flip and Devin the Dude struggle to stay in the top 200, as both artists albums drop to the 190s. Flipperachi’s 2-Disc I Need Mine comes in at #191 with 4k on the week (89k overall). Devin’sWaitin’ To Inhale is three spots below at #194, with 4k as on the week as well (65k overall).
