Jonah Hill has been stepping out of the big screen and jumping behind the camera as of late. Most recently, he directed the film Mid90sfeaturing Del The Funky Homosapien and now, the Superbad star appears to be hooking up with Gucci Mane for an upcoming video.

On Saturday (March 2), Hill shared a screen shot of a text exchange with Guwop to his Instagram account.

“Waddup vato it’s Guwop,” Gucci says.

Hill replies, “Wowwwww been waiting for this text all my life. We gonna make a classic or what?”

“Hell yeah,” Gucci says. “we gone make classic I’m bout to send song I …”

Judging by the caption, the video will have something to do with Vampire Weekend, Steve Lacy and, of course, La Flare.

“This video should be interesting… @laflare1017,” Hill wrote. “got the @vampireweekend and @steve.lacy video coming next couple weeks. Music videos were my favorite growing up and I feel grateful I get to direct them with some of my favorite artists. Let’s go!”

The East Atlanta Santa’s latest release was 2018’s Evil Genius. It’s unclear if the video is coming from that project or if it’s something entirely new. Either way, we’ll have to wait and see.
