The pendant which stand 7 and 1/2 inches tall, 6 inches wide and one inch thick weighing in at a total of 5 lbs with 73 diamond karats, with almost 4,000 stones set in a 18-karat yellow and white gold bed. The piece now stands as the largest diamond pendant on record.
"I'm glad the Guinness World Records folks acknowledged me and my Crunk Ain't Dead piece, I grew up on reading and hearing about people and celebrities who break records in the Guinness World Records book and it always fascinated me. Now that I''m on the list, it feels great. Let's just see how many rappers try to outdo my pendant and break my record. They don't call me the King of Crunk for nothing", Lil Jon said of being added to the books.
Lil Jon is hard at work on his first solo album, Crunk Rock as well as working with Rhymefest on his sophomore album. Crunk Rock has an impressive roster so far with guests like Good Charlotte, Ciara, Lil Wayne, R. Kelly, Three 6 Mafia, Rick Rubin, Green Day and Jonathan Davis of Korn.
Rapper/NBA star Ron Artest has been hit with four misdemeanor charges, which stem from a domestic dispute that occurred in early March. Each charge may carry a maximum sentence of one year in prison.
During the argument in early March, Artest's wife Kimsha, claimed Artest pushed her when she tried to stop him from leaving their home in his Hummer. Some reports also claim Artest slapped her. During the spat, she threw a pot at the Hummer, which damaged the windshield of the vehicle. She also noted that her leg and arm were scratched and cut.
According to police, Artest took the phone away from his wife the first time she tried to dial 911.
After his arrest on March 5, the NBA star was released, but only after posting a $50,000 bond.
This morning in Auburn, California, Artest pleaded "not guilty" to these charges. Although he is to stay at least 100 feet from his wife, he is allowed to make "peaceful" telephone calls to stay in contact with her.
After court this morning, he left to Phoenix where his team, the Sacramento Kings are set to play against the Suns.
Artest is now set to appear in court April 5, once again.
Sources have told us that 50 Cent is changing the title of his album which means it will no longer be Before I Self Destruct as it has been previously mentioned. Apparently he wants to save that title for his final album. The new album title has yet to be revealed. Word also has it that 50 Cent spent a month in the studio with Dr. Dre. This puts a different spin on the upcoming album since Dre only did two songs on The Massacre. Expect to hear more of a Dr. Dre influence on this album.
