Rich The Kid and Usher were reportedly involved in an armed robbery at a famous West Hollywood studio on Tuesday afternoon (February 12).
TMZ reports roughly 10 shots were fired outside Westlake Recording Studio by a man running from the building as he pulled the trigger.
According to law enforcement officials, Usher was inside the studio when the shooting occurred but wasn’t hurt. Rich, who was outside when the shots rang out, was reportedly the intended target of the armed robbery.
The incident wasn’t without injury. One of Rich’s bodyguards was pistol whipped and multiple members of his entourage were also attacked.

L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies are currently on the scene searching for suspects and collecting evidence. The suspect (or suspects) succeeded in stealing cash and jewelry.

Four hours prior to the attack, Rich flaunted stacks of cash in an Instagram post. TMZ says the caption initially read “For motivational purposes” only but it now reads, “Always in bank mo deposit.”
