The Game held a listening party for his forthcoming album Born To Rap in Hollywood earlier this week. On one of the tracks, Mr. L.A. Confidential raps about his former intimate relationship with Kim Kardashian.

“I’m a G.O.A.T. nigga/I held Kim Kardashian by her throat nigga/Made her swallow my kids until she choked nigga/I should apologize…because Ye my folks nigga,” he spits.

But according to TMZ, people in Game’s inner circle advised him to cut the lyric for fear of what Kanye West might do after hearing it. When he refused, they urged The Game to at least call ‘Ye and prepare him for what he would hear. Despite their concerns, the veteran rapper didn’t think reaching out to Kanye was necessary and stood firm.

Last September, ‘Ye went off on Drake, Nick Cannon and Tyson Beckford for allegedly disrespecting his wife. He also seemed to be extremely bothered when he discovered Drake followed Kardashian on Instagram.
