Cardi B was in a New York City courthouse on Friday morning (April 19) to address the alleged strip club beatdown that occurred last August. But the Grammy Award-winning rapper left without finalizing the case.

According to TMZ, she rejected the prosecutors’ plea deal which included pleading guilty to a misdemeanor with a conditional discharge. Although she wouldn’t receive any jail time, Cardi would have to stay out of trouble.

Before prosecutors could even disclose the full terms of the deal, Cardi was done with the hearing.

Cardi turned herself in to authorities last October for allegedly ordering the assault of strip club bartenders Baddie Gi and Jade. The Bronx firecracker reportedly believed Jade had slept with her husband Offset.

However, the judge did order the platinum-selling star to stay away from the bartenders, Baddie Gi and Jade, and issued protective orders for the alleged victims. Cardi is also barred from making threats or comments on social media about the bartenders.

The bartenders’ attorney Joe Tacopina — who also represented Meek Mill — told TMZ Cardi’s no-show earlier this week was “blatantly defiant and disrespectful.” He thinks she’s getting preferential treatment because of her celebrity status.

Meanwhile, Cardi was in Miami working on her next video with City Girls.

But Tacopina wasn’t impressed, saying: “She decided not to show up for court because it was more important to take photos in a bikini in Miami. If any other defendant did that there would be a warrant issued for their arrest immediately.”
