Long Beach, CA

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s issues on the West Coast aren’t done. The controversial rapper was confronted by YG affiliate Slim 400 in Long Beach on Sunday night (November 4) and ended up not attending ComplexCon 2018.

Slim and his crew stood outside the doors of the Hyatt Regency when 6ix9ine and company pulled up to the hotel. Both men exchanged verbal shots, but the altercation never escalated into something violent with multiple people standing in between the two.

Footage captured by TMZ showed 6ix9ine taunting Slim and others about being in his city before leaving the scene.

Following the confrontation, Slim posted his own video bragging about blocking 6ix9ine from entering ComplexCon.

“Stopped that nigga at the door,” he said. “6ix9ine couldn’t get in, ain’t hit no stage, ain’t walked around [or] did shit.”

He added, “Ain’t no colorful-haired niggas pulling up. Ain’t with that today.”

6ix9ine became persona non grata on the West Coast after he taunted Los Angeles gangs earlier this year. He also started beefing with The Game and YG, trading online jabs with both of the Compton natives.

YG brought the feud into his music, labeling 6ix9ine a pedophile in the video for “Bulletproof” featuring Jay 305. The visual featured a 6ix9ine-lookalike being harassed in prison.
