Philly MC Shawn Smith recently absorbed nationwide wreck for his part in the 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards Cyphers and today (October 18), he’s linked with HipHopDX to premiere the visual for highly skilled “No Heart (Freestyle).”
“I recorded ‘No Heart’ because I connected with the original record at the time,” he tells DX. It was dope, and the beat moved me. I wanted to just flow on and had no idea whether I would release it or not.”
The Guru Blue-directed video arrives just in time for Halloween as Smith hits the town craving more hearts than Mortal Kombat’s Kano.

As the versatile rhymer preps his next big moves, he also reflected on his recent TV spotlight.
