A charitable Kodak Black recently donated to the family of Sgt. Terrence Carraway, the lone South Carolina officer who died after alleged gunman Frederick Hopkins opened fire on several law enforcement officials, injuring six others in the process.

The Blast reports that Lil Kodak ponied up $2,500 underneath his government name, Bill K. Kapri, in efforts to get the memorial GoFundMe page closer to its $60,000 goal.

The 21-year-old rapper told the publication that he wasn’t seeking any publicity on the matter but did confirm he donated, stating that the tragedy made “a big impression,” seeing that Carraway’s family are forced to trudge on without him in their lives.

On October 3, police say the 74-year-old Hopkins ambushed Carraway, three female Florence County deputies, and four Florence city police officers, while allegedly holding children captive and causing injuries that ranged from critical to nonlife-threatening aside from Carraway.

A final tally concluded that cops seized a whopping 129 guns from Hopkins, who is currently facing one count of murder and six counts of attempted murder.
