#DXCLUSIVE: Alfred Banks Gets Animated In "This Is True" Video

New Orleans native Alfred Banks has resurfaced with a new video for “This Is True.” The track comes from his Mere-Exposure EffectEP, which was released in July. Directed by Peter Adler, who also provided the animation, the visual brings Banks’ words to life as he rattles off each bar.

“I really enjoyed writing this song. I wanted to capture the energy of today while keeping my lyrical integrity,” Banks tells HipHopDX. “I feel like I did that with this record. Shouts to Malik Ninety Five for the beat.”
