Los Angeles, CA

Despite canceling several dates on the Aubrey & The Three Amigos Tour, Drake and Migos made it to Los Angeles on Friday (October 12) at The Staples Center. Fans were subjected to a big surprise when Chris Brown hit the stage to perform songs such as “Party” and “Freaky Friday.”

After the unexpected reunion, Drake shared an Instagram photo of the duo performing and explained this was the first time they’d shared a stage in nine years.

“This is not a fan edit,” he wrote in the caption. “Last time I was on stage with Breezy was 2009 at Virginia Commonwealth University…tonight I got to reconnect with him for the first night at Staples! I love a good full circle moment. Thank you.”

Drake and Breezy’s drama kicked off in 2012 following a brawl inside SoHo’s W.i.P. Nightclub. At the time, Drake was rumored to be dating Brown’s ex Rihanna. When Brown allegedly refused to accept of bottle of Ace of Spades champagne from Drake, insults were hurled and the argument eventually turned physical.

For now, it looks like that’s water under the bridge.
