Live from Brooklyn’s Red Hook neighborhood, Belly ensured his recently released Immigrant album would have extended life with a perceivably emotional a capella performance of the title track.

“On this side of the world, we’re the only safe haven some people have,” the Roc Nation rapper explained, harking on his roots as the son of Palestinian parents. “We could actually play a role in life that has purpose.”
