OPM First Lady Aysha Monet debuts her music video “Too Pretty, making it clear that’s she’s to be wasting her time and energy with no good men.
Aysha lets it be known she’s not side chick or an option and no woman should settle for the same. The visual and song cement that mentality all the way through, with the burgeoning singer taking viewers along for an oft familiar tale women go through when sometimes dealing with the opposite sex.
“‘Too Pretty’ is an empowering song for women who may have dealt with men who don’t respect women or understand their value,” Aysha tells HipHopDX. “Although true beauty comes from within, ‘Too Pretty’ exemplifies when women take care of themselves physically by getting their nails done, hair done and self-care can boost their confidence by making them realize they’re too pretty for bullshit.”
