Powered by a dramatic remix of DMX’s 2001 hit, “Who We Be,” Michael B. Jordan’s upcoming Creed II thriller looks to pack quite the punch.
The Steven Caple Jr.-directed sequel to 2015’s boxing box office smash stars Jordan reprising his role as Adonis Creed and Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa, as they pick at old wounds facing Rocky IV’s Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren) and his son (Florian “The Big Nasty” Munteanu).
Luke Cage showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker and Stallone co-wrote the film together, which also stars Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, Wood Harris, Andre Ward, and Russell Hornsby.
