Burgeoning Orlando-based MC E-Turn has dropped a new video for “Nowadays” featuring KRS-One. Directed by Varras Tower, the visual kicks off in a local mall inside a sneaker store where KRS comes on the television screen and starts dropping knowledge.

E-Turn comes in with her first verse and instantly proves why she deserves to be here.

“KRS first met me when I jumped into a cypher with him in Orlando and he lost his shit,” E-Turn tells HipHopDX. “So then, he came out again this year and I brought the track to him that had a quote in it from his track ‘Hip Hop vs. Rap.'”

“I told him ‘Yo, this track has you in it, paying homage to real Hip Hop,” she continues. “Will you spit the lyrics for me and be in the video?’ And he brought me and my videographer to the green room and kicked everyone out so he could do it [laughs].”
