Grand Rapids, MI

Whether or not Eminem is set to release a response to Machine Gun Kelly’s “Rap Devil” appears to be irrelevant to the Cleveland native.

During his Fall Out Boy opening performance at Grand Rapids’ Van Andel Arena yesterday (September 6), MGK launched into his now viral Eminem diss record but had some few choice words for his elder competition.

“This is not a battle between Michigan and Ohio,” he stated, referencing the two states’ testy relationship through sports’ greatest rivalry.

He continued, “This is a battle between the past and the muthafuckin’ future. Knees weak of old age! The real Slim Shady can’t stand up!”

Despite being less than two hours away from Eminem’s Detroit stomping grounds, the crowd went wild as Kellz launched into his fiery lyrical slander.

Meanwhile, Eminem’s cryptic social media activity and ex-D12 members Bizarre and Mr. Porter’s tense warnings have diehard fans fully convinced that a Slim Shady counterattack is on the horizon.
