It’s almost hard to believe Beyoncé is only 37 years young. Over the past decade, the Destiny’s Child has evolved into a bona fide pop superstar and accomplished more as an artist than most could ever dream of.
As she celebrated her September 4 birthday, Mrs. Shawn Carter was clearly in a reflective mood.
On Thursday (September 6), Beyoncé shared her thoughts on Instagram, alongside a photo of herself with husband JAY-Z.

“At 36, I became a new mother of 3. I breastfed twins. I renewed my vows with my husband of ten years. I came back home to the stage to do Coachella, after pregnancy. Then my husband and I released our album together, Everything Is Love. And we’ve been touring with our family around the world, and loving it. This year has been monumental for me.
“I thank God for everyone in my life. Thank you for all the positivity and for the beautiful birthday wishes. I’m looking forward to continuing to learn from my past, living in the present, and surrendering to the future. I love you, Hive.”
Beyoncé and JAY-Z have been on the extensive On The Road II Tour in support of their DX-perfect rated album EVERYTHING IS LOVEsince June. The tour continues on September 11 in Arlington, Texas and wraps up on October 4 in Seattle, Washington.
