Hopsin was one of the many names Eminem rattled off on “Fall” from his new album Kamikaze.Unlike Lil Pump and Lil Xan, Hopsin wasn’t the recipient of a diss. Rather, Slim Shady used him as an example of those who have contributed to Hip Hop culture.

Upon hearing the line, Hopsin evidently lost his mind and hopped on Instagram to let his fans know how grateful he was that Em even knew his name.

“Yo, craziest shit just fucking happened,” he says in the clip. “Eminem just said my name on his god damn song on his new album. This shit is crazy. Listen.”

He then proceeds to play the clip and yell out a primal scream so loud Em probably heard it in Detroit.

“What the fuck! I didn’t even know he knew who the fuck I was! God damn. He said don’t tell him about the culture, implying I’m part of the culture. Oh shit, man. I gotta call my mom.”

In the caption, Hopsin continued expressing his disbelief.

“YO!!! @eminem thank you for acknowledging me on your song Kamikaze!!” he writes. “HOLY FUCK!! This is seriously the BEST FUCKING DAY OF MY FUCKING LIFE!! Not even exaggerating! For years I always wondered if you even knew who I was! God damn! Literally. The. Best. Fuckin. Day. Of. My. Fucking. Life!!!! Period!

“YOU JUST INSPIRED ME TO MAKE A NEW FUCKING PROJECT! Im bout to hit the studio RIGHT FUCKIN NOW! This was the motivation I needed to stay on track! Thank you EM!”

Machine Gun Kelly had a similar reaction, even though Em was clearly dissing the Cleveland-born rapper. He celebrated with a bottle of champagne.  [apple_news_ad type=”any”]
