Top Dawg Entertainment is a Hip Hop powerhouse. From Kendrick Lamar and SZA to Ab-Soul and Jay Rock, TDE’s roster is tight. Naturally, fans want to know what the imprint is up to.
On Wednesday (August 29), TDE founder/CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith answered a few questions on Twitter. Most notably, he gave an update on the elusive Ab-Soul who hasn’t released an album since 2016’sDo What Thou Wilt. But, it appears like that’s about to change.
“He’s working,” Top Dawg wrote. “He gave me some records last nite.”

When asked how many TDE projects fans can expect before the year is up, Top Dawg revealed there were a couple on the way and set a goal for himself.

TDE’s latest releases include Black Panther: The Album, SiR’s November and Jay Rock’s Redemption. ScHoolboy Q hasn’t dropped an album since 2016’s Blank Face LP,so it’s possible he’s up next.
