Chris Rock is taking a page from Oprah’s book.
 
The comedian was among the many celebrities in attendance for Oprah’s leadership academy in South Africa last week. After the festivities, Rock paid a visit to another part
of the continent.
 
Accompanied by his wife, Rock
ventured to Kenya , according to AFP. While there, he visited one of
the largest slums in Kibera, which houses some 800,000 people.
 
Rock wants to help the people in the area with their problems.
 
“I have come to Kibera to see for myself the blight of this people (and) see what we can do,” Rock says.
 
The decision to visit may not have been solely on Chris, but mainly on the part of his wife, Malaak
Compton-Rock.
 
“I go where my wife tells me to go,” he says of the trip.
