HipHopDX Premiere: Mega Ran has teamed up with fellow rapper The Bag of Tricks Cat for the “Get Out The ’90s” video.

Directed by Eljay Cinematics, the visual is shot both outside of a food mart and inside of a record store where they shop around for Hip Hop classics like Nas’Illmatic.

As Mega Ran explains to HipHopDX, the track is a “thunderous shot across the bow, aimed at the ‘Hip Hop purists’ who don’t believe anything created after 1996 can be dope. The new approach is to make great art and stop repeating the past.”
