The Rare Breeds event on August 18 just got even more interesting.

After already building massive hype with the announcement of Murda Mook’s return to battle rap against Aye Verb, the RBE league has announced another MC making his way back: King Los.

While Los’ opponent is still unknown, RBE co-owner and host A.R.P. stoked the fire under Los fans with his tweet questioning Los’ placement in the pantheon of great battle rappers.

Los has always been closely associated with the battle rap world while being a recording artist. His last documented battle was an impromptu one with Danny Myers at URL’s Traffic event in Los Angeles in 2015. He also has alluded to entering the ring numerous times before.

Los previously signed to Bad Boy Records through Bloc Incorporated in 2005 and then again in 2012 on his own. In 2014, he left Bad Boy to work with 88 Classic, RCA, and After Platinum. His last recorded project is Moor Bars.
