Spotify announced R. Kelly’s catalog was removed from its playlists on Thursday (May 10) based on its new Hate Content & Hateful Conduct policy. Now, the company has decided to remove XXXTENTACION’s music from its playlists as well.

As reported by the New York Times, Spotify explained the company “thought long and hard about how to handle content that is not hate content itself, but is principally made by artists or other creators who have demonstrated hateful conduct personally.”

As of Thursday, X’s music is no longer featured on the Rap Caviar playlist, which boasts over nine million followers but his music is currently still available on a Spotify-curated This Is XXXTENTACION playlist.
