Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star and R&B singer Teairra Marí is stepping out in front of an ongoing social media scandal that depicts the 30-year-old in a sexual act.
“Recently my social media was compromised by someone who I felt was deserving of my love and trust. That person proved to be untrustworthy and posted footage of what in the moment was private and sacred.
“Moving forward, I recognize the need to be more cautious and discerning. My hope is for women to remain strong and dignified when they find themselves having to address hateful and juvenile acts by former lovers who find it difficult to act in an adult manner.”

She concluded, “Revenge Porn is a crime in California and I will be in pursuit of justice.” Mari went on to thank her former LHHH co-star, Milan Christopher for having her back during her moment of trouble.
According to Penal Code 647(j)(4) PC, California law identifies revenge porn occurrences when: You have an image of the intimate body part of another identifiable person, or an image of that person engaged in sexual intercourse, sodomy, oral copulation or masturbation; You intentionally distribute that image; There was an understanding between you and that person that the image would remain private; You know or should know that the distribution of the image will cause the person serious emotional distress; and The person depicted suffers serious emotional distress.

Sadly, Marí isn’t the only LHHH star whose had to deal with this particular issue this year. Nicki Minajs ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels had his private business leaked all across social media back in February.
