Kodak Black may be behind bars but that doesn’t mean he’s stopped making music. On Tuesday (April 3), producer Dyryk posted an Instagram video that revealed the frequently incarcerated rapper was spitting verses over the phone and having them recorded.

“@kodakblack Recorded a couple verses over the phone yesterday got me ready,” Dyryk wrote in the caption. “About to smack all of ya’ll with another. Stay Tuned. #SG #HBK #iCallYou #WhenWeLinkUpBeLegendady.”

The 20-year-old Pompano Beach native has been locked up since January after being arrested on multiple charges, including grand theft of a firearm, gun possession, drug possession (marijuana), child neglect and probation violation.

At the end of February, the prosecution added charges of felony possession of cannabis and possession of ammunition by a delinquent but dropped the charges of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, third-degree grand theft and child neglect.
