New York City, NY

Tekashi 6ix9ine opened up about his continued rifts with West Coast rappers YG and The Game during a recently published interview with ThisIs50’s PVNCH.

After discussing the chart success of his February mixtape DAY69 — which debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 — the controversial Brooklyn native was asked about the newly ignited issues with YG. It comes after the Compton rapper took aim at 6ix9ine in an Instagram post uploaded last week.

“When was the last time YG had a record?” 6ix9ine asks. PVNCH subsequently replies saying he recently dropped “Suu Whoop,” to which 6ix9ine quickly responds, “That’s a record? Let me check if it’s on Billboard. Hold on. It’s not there, right? It’s not there. Let me ask this again: when was the last time YG put out a record? A record meaning a record that sells. [2010’s] “Toot It and Boot It?”

6ix9ine later admitted that YG’s 2013 single “My Nigga” — which peaked at #19 on the Billboard Hot 100 — was a hit, though he subsequently questioned the last time YG had chart success as a solo artist.

“Audience, comment [below] when was the last time YG had a record. I’ll wait here all day.”

6ix9ine continues, “That’s the moral of the story. Everyone who is mentioning my name has a reason to. They not doing what I do. So I’m not mad at them. Be mad. You’re supposed to be mad. I would be mad.”

PVNCH later asked 6ix9ine about The Game, who first called the rainbow-haired rapper a “fake-ass blood” during a concert in Europe. The pair subsequently engaged in a back-and-forth on IG, though 6ix9ine has since deleted all of his posts aimed at the Compton rap veteran.

“I don’t even know who that guy is, to be honest,” he says. “When he came out I was eight, nigga. [What] the fuck? Nigga, how you coming for me? You got kids older than me, Blood. The nigga has a family to take care of. What is he doing? Someone take his phone away. Nah for real. Yo, Blood, go spend time with your kids; throw baseball with your kids. Do something, Blood. Take his phone away, Blood.”
