A woman has identified herself as the person XXXTENTACION hit in the head in an old video that surfaced this week on social media.
On Tuesday (March 27), the woman shared the video of the incident to her own Instagram account and offered insight on the matter.
Prior to stating that she wasn’t the one who leaked the footage, she revealed she initially didn’t come forward because she was scared. The woman also says she was 16 when the video was recorded

“For those who are questioning why i didn’t come forth earlier was because i was terrified for my life..imagine someone doing that to u unprovoked.? At 16? let alone the people he associates himself w/? truth of the matter is I would still be holding on to this secret if it wasn’t leaked,” she wrote in a message uploaded to Instagram.
She also denied rumors that she’s chasing some kind of “clout” now that the video has surfaced.

Earlier this week, a lawyer for XXXTENTACION characterized the video as being “completely in jest.”
The video could be bad news for X, who was recently let off house arrest and is currently facing charges of aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, and false imprisonment for an alleged assault in 2016.
