Miami Beach, FL

From now on, October 12 will be known as “French Montana Day” in the South Beach neighborhood of Miami Beach, Florida.

The city’s mayor, Philip Levine, made the announcement during the opening day of the fourth annual REVOLT Music Conference (RMC), which is being held at the Eden Roc Miami Beach Resort.

The Morocco-born and South Bronx-raised rapper was thrilled, thanking his Bad Boy label boss Diddy and Mayor Levine for the honor.

At last year’s third annual RMC, Mayor Levine declared October 13 as “Sean Diddy Combs Day.” This year, Diddy was presented with a “100-year coin.”

January 20 also serves as “DJ Khaled Day” in Miami.
