To say that Kanye West and Kid Cudi have chemistry together is an understatement. They’ve fallen out on multiple occasions and reconciled their differences publicly. Together they’ve made some incredible music, and, if we’re lucky, they could be joining forces again.

Talk of some kind of collaboration from the two, possibly called Everybody Wins, has been revitalized thanks to a recent trip to Japan where they linked up with artist Takashi Murakami, the man behind the cover for Graduation and the artwork featured in the “Good Morning” video.

On Friday (August 11), Murakami posted a picture on Instagram that features himself, Cudi, and West, standing in front of a wall at his studio. The caption below reads “Long to no see @kidcudi and #kanyewest. Thank you for coming to my studio. It was fire???.”

Mention of a possible project comes from Coodie Rock, the co-owner of Creative Control LLC and long-time Kanye video collaborator, and Greg “Olskool Ice-Gre” Lewis, the first A&R for G.O.O.D. Music, who also posted photos of the same visit to their accounts.

Fans began to speculate about a joint project last December when Cudi’s tour drummer Mike Moore uploaded a video to Instagram featuring an in-progress Cudi project with West vocals. The post was quickly deleted but the video was captured by KanyeToThe.

Last month, West and Cudi were spotted in Los Angeles, along with their former manager Plain Pat.

With production credits in The Life of Pablo and Passion, Pain, & Demon Slayin’, Pat’s inclusion could mean that something really is in the works.

West and Cudi collaborated on “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” off West’s latest album, The Life of Pablo. DX named it the third best song of 2016.
