Pop star Madonna has succeeded in halting the sale of some personal items, including a handwritten letter from her ex-boyfriend Tupac Shakur and a pair of her worn panties, on an online auction site.

Billboard reports that the 58-year-old singer filed an emergency court order against Gotta Have It! Collectibles, and succeeded in her request to block the items from being auctioned off today (July 19) as part of a rock-and-roll themed sale.

Tuesday (July 18), a Manhattan state Supreme Court judge ordered Gotta Have It! Collectibles to pull 22 items from the auction.

The personal items made their way onto the site via a “former friend,” Madonna explained. She was reportedly shocked by the scheduled auction of the Tupac letter, which was penned by the rapper in January of 1995. The letter would have boasted an opening price of $100,000.

As for the planned auction of the singer’s other personal items, Madonna says she found the auction “outrageous and grossly offensive.”

Although the handwritten letter from Tupac and the worn panties from Madonna are no longer listed on the auction site, a number of other items from her, including clothing worn during various performances and photo shoots, are still available.
