Controversial battle rap figure Daylyt and frequent TDE producer Willie B have dropped their new joint project, Let There B Lyt, which boasts nine fresh tracks. In addition to Willie B, the album brings three other collaborators along for the ride, including Mickey Taelor on “Girl Shit,” Chevy Jones on “Day Electronica” and J. Anthny on “King of Thuh Dot.”

The Watts, California native has participated in countless battles and built a reputation as being one of the culture’s most entertaining participants. Most recently, he showed up for another King Of The Dot event hosted by Organik, Gully TK and Bishop Brigante, which found him facing off against fellow battle rap vet Cortez.

Daylyt just wrapped up a handful of shows with Lupe Fiasco and is preparing for his record release party in Los Angeles on Thursday (June 1).
