Hacienda Heights, CA – The Game is hyped that Kendrick Lamar is keeping the legacy of Compton, California alive. He praised Kendrick for DAMN. on Instagram today (May 3), calling it “dope as fuck.”

“From me to whoever THE FUCK is concerned,” he captioned on an Instagram post of Dot’s DAMN. cover art. “his album is a DOPE AS FUCK blood!!! & it’s the Lil homie’s 3rd LP…. if you are a true fan of HIP HOP, then you have it memorized by now !!! If you are a hip hop fan & you do not have @kendricklamar shit by now……FUCK YOU, that’s on Compton, Bompton & my hood & my kids.”

Game goes on to say he studied the album and is proud of Kendrick because where they’re from, they both know what it took to get out the mud and become as successful as they have. He promises his own album, Westside Story is “coming soon.”

DAMN. sold over half a million equivalent album units during the first week of its release and gave 29-year-old Lamar his third #1 album.
