Gucci Mane has been grinding non-stop since regaining his freedom in May 2016, and now it seems as though the East Atlanta Santa will be branching out with another project alongside Rick Ross, who recently announced his 10th album before the official numbers for his ninth were even in yet.

“ATL should love the fact that me and Guwop are going to film our first movie,” Ross revealed to V-103 while in Gucci’s hometown for the V103 Live Pop Up Concert. “We doing that independently. We gon’ be beginning that in the next three months.”

“That’s coming. That’s official. They gon’ see us swerving,” he said.

While it might not count as their “day job,” neither man is a stranger to acting. Gucci Mane appeared in Spring Breakers with James Franco and Vanessa Hudgens, and both men starred together in the eight-minute music video for 2 Chainz’ “Buy Back The Block.”

As for what the film will be about or when it’s going to drop, well, all of that remains up in the air. As it stands, Rick Ross has been dogged by charges of kidnapping and assault since June 2015. Whether this gets in the way of his cinematic project with Guwop is yet to be seen.
