Chance The Rapper made a statement when he donated $1 million to Chicago Public Schools yesterday (March 6).
Many applauded the Grammy-winning rapper for his efforts, including former First Lady Michelle Obama.

Several in the Hip Hop community shared their gratitude for Chano making this move, especially after he said he had an “unsuccessful” meeting with Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner earlier in March.
