After a tumultuous weekend on Twitter, Hot 97 personality Ebro Darden took the opportunity to address Remy Ma’s “SHETHER” track on air during Monday’s episode of “Ebro In The Morning.”

The radio host, who is name dropped on one of the record’s most notorious lines, was directly asked by Peter Rosenberg if he has ever had “a romantic relationship in any way with Nicki Minaj.”

Ebro took inspiration from former President Bill Clinton with his reply, responding, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman in any way, shape, or form.”

He did fess up to meeting with Nicki publicly on several occasions, and added that alcohol was involved. In terms of a physical relationship, he revealed that the furthest he’s ever gone with the Jamaica, Queens rapper was a thigh grab.

“I’ve never been alone with Nicki Minaj … I’ve never sexted Nicki,” Ebro said. “I’ve definitely told her her ass was fat. Definitely told her that before … I grabbed her thigh at that party. Remember? When she came in that outfit. The Halloween party.”

The Hot 97 radio host later explained that he thought the jealousy of one of Nicki’s exes — “possibly” Safaree Samuels — is how Remy’s “you cheated on your man with Ebro” line worked its way onto the diss track.

“I believe that because we would go out and have drinks and we had a good time, that people got jealous at the time. I definitely believe that,” he said.

Ebro, who referred to Remy as a liar on Twitter, later explained that he has no beef with the rapper, and even informed listeners that he texted Papoose asking him to “give Remy the biggest fist bump for me.”
