Valentine’s Day got off to a rough start for Rich Homie Quan. Apparently, his Instagram account was hacked early Tuesday (February 14) and over 30 potentially damaging images were posted for his nearly three million followers. Rather than lose his mind or come up with a revenge plot, the mature side of the Atlanta rapper was revealed and he wisely decided to “take the high road.”

“First and foremost I would like to take the time out to apologize to my family, friends and fans,” he captioned his IG photo. “The events that transpired this morning on IG was not done by me, and definitely was not done to help me. Before I let this put me in a bad place I have chosen to take the high road, which is to smile and move forward.

“Yesterday was one of the best days of my life, and I refuse to let the devil allow me to focus on him, and not my blessings,” he added. “I’m not tripping a IG hack, hit me up if the bank accounts get hacked.”

While the details are scarce on what exactly the hacked photos entailed, judging by the reactions on Twitter, they weren’t G or even PG-13 rated. In fact, some very personal details about an intimate relationship were apparently exposed, as well as conversations about Birdman and Young Thug. The photos have since been removed, but are said to have been a series of private photos and DM conversations.

While this could be just a clever publicity stunt for a new album, he did also alert his many fans to a fake Instagram account and warned them not to follow, so perhaps someone truly has it out for Mr. Quan. Whatever the case, his account is back to normal (for now).
