Bad news for those who were ready to cough up the $19,999,900 to buy Drake’s Hidden Hills home: it’s not for sale.

Major outlets like the LA Times had reported that the Canadian superstar’s mansion, dubbed YOLO Estate, had been posted on the Multiple Listing Service — and it was, briefly, just not by anyone who had any authority to put it there.

Drake purchased the expansive estate in 2012 for a reported $7.7 million, but had been coveting the mansion and its massive residential pool for years.

TMZ has since reported that the story started when someone who has no affiliation with Drake posted the property to online real estate Zillow. When a real estate agent got in touch to see if he could represent the property on the market, he was given that permission by the scammer.

The agent, whose name was given by TMZ as Alexei Pavlov, then made an error by listing the property on MLS as active, rather than saving it as a draft — causing it to appear publicly and set off a chain of news stories reporting that the dream home was on the market.

Instead, when Pavlov pressed the original contact for further details, he learned that he had in fact been scammed.
