The Weeknd Stays In The Stars

The Weeknd’s Starboy holds its #1 position for the third week in the row. This sales cycle, the LP pushed 60,659 equivalent album units. It sold nearly 13,000 albums and was streamed 57 million times.

Run The Jewels Sprints Up The Chart

The independently released third album from Killer Mike and El-P’s duo shot up 239 percent this sales cycle, selling 20,057 equivalent album units. The album came out digitally as a Christmas surprise for fans, but was released physically on January 13. The increase moves the album from #106 to #13 — the highest position the group has ever hit on the chart.

Social Club Misfits Land First Billboard 200 Placement

Social Club Misfits chart at #80 with the debut of The Misadventures of Fern & Marty. The project, the duo’s first on Capitol Records, sold 7,006 units with 5,314 albums and 1.7 million streams.
