Rather than offer continuous clarification, producer Mike Dean is taking full advantage of the fact that some people on social media have mistaken him for English soccer referee, Michael Dean.
The case of mistaken identity comes as the referee Dean faces scrutiny after dismissing West Ham soccer player Sofiane Feghouli for a challenge on Manchester United defender Phil Jones during a game held earlier this week.

Naturally, those upset with the move by Dean turned to social media to express their frustration, especially since the official has built a reputation for himself as the ref who gives out the most penalties in the Premier League.
Unfortunately, their criticism was mistakenly tweeted to Mike Dean, the Houston beatsmith behind records from Kanye West, Jay Z, Travis Scott and more.

Dean did initially offer clarification on the matter, but soon took a different approach, channeling his inner English soccer ref.
